At Wellesley-Natick Veterinary Hospital, we feel it is important to extend our service outside the walls of our animal hospital. Our Natick veterinary clinic is involved in the nearby communities of Wellesley, Framingham, Wayland, Weston…and even Waltham and Sudbury.
We have a very active partnership with two no-kill animal shelters in the area. We are involved with Buddy Dogs located in Sudbury and Stray Pets in Need (SPIN) of Wellesley.
We’ve spayed or neutered hundreds of cats for SPIN. You may have met some of these cats at Natick’s Pet World, the pet retail store across from the Natick Mall. For many years, Pet World has donated space to SPIN for an adoption center in their Route 9 store. “Kitty City” features a communal kennel that is located in the store window and features a ceiling crawl space—it is a great way to catch some kitty antics. Please visit this wonderful adoption center that is such a wonderful model for community cooperation.
We also provide veterinary service to the state police’s K-9 unit dogs in Waltham, MA. We are honored to care for these brave canines that protect and serve.
We are also invited and participate in school career days, and welcome opportunities to represent the veterinary profession to the next generation.
Our passion for pet welfare and the community we serve it a natural extension of all that we do daily at Wellesley-Natick Veterinary Hospital.
