Wellesley-Natick Veterinary Hospital delivers general and advanced emergency pet care, with highly skilled staff and up-to-date equipment, including an in-house ultrasound machine, laboratory, and digital radiology. Our modern facility meets the highest standards of care.
We are proud of our progressive approach. Our staff and veterinarians prioritize continuing education and stay abreast of cutting edge medicine and techniques. We value learning at every level. Our knowledge, experience, and advanced equipment enable us to address both specialty and emergency medicine.
If your pet requires specialty services, we have access to board-certified specialist care. As an example, we work with a board-certified veterinary cardiologist who we schedule to perform ultrasounds at our hospital for our patients with heart disease or suspected cardiac issues. We also provide chemotherapy for pets with cancer.
We offer many advanced surgeries and perform a number of laparoscopic surgeries, which aids healing and speeds recovery. Hospital owner and founder Dr. Katuna has expertise in performing gastropexy, used to prevent bloat in dogs. Gastropexy is a surgical operation in which the stomach is sutured to the abdominal wall. Further, Dr. McCarthy offers orthopedic surgery.
We will make every effort to respond to emergencies. If the emergency occurs during office hours, we will see your pet immediately.
If you have an after-hours emergency, we will direct you to one of the many fine area animal emergency clinics. If your pet needs immediate intensive care, going straight to an emergency facility is the best course of action.
Please program our number into your telephones, in case of a pet emergency: (508) 653-3420 (508) 653-3420 .
