Dr. Katuna is the owner of Wellesley-Natick Veterinary Hospital and graduated from the University of California-Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1977. He completed an internship at Angell Memorial Hospital in 1978 and was certified by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in 1983.
Dr. Katuna recertified for the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in November 2011, passing an 8 hour comprehensive examination on Canine and Feline medicine and surgery. To maintain certification, a certified Veterinarian has to take the comprehensive examination every 10 years.
The ABVP board certified veterinarian has demonstrated by the certification process that they are capable of providing a level of clinical practice that is clearly superior to the norm of the profession.
Dr. Orlandi joined our staff in January of 1999. She has been practicing small animal medicine since 1995 upon graduating from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. She has special interests in ferrets, guinea pigs and small mammals.
Dr. Rotolo joined our staff in June of 1999. She received her DVM from the University of Bari, Italy in 1991. She practiced veterinary medicine in Italy for seven years while completing a PhD program in Parasitology. In 1998, Dr. Rotolo moved to the United States and spent one year at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grafton, where she completed her requirements for her veterinary license in the United States.
Dr. MacFarlane joined our staff in August 2010. She graduated from the University of California-Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. She has an interest in pet obesity, preventative medicine and internal medicine. She is a Purina certified weight coach.
Moira has been here from the beginning. She joined our practice in 1982 as our full charge bookkeeper. In 1992, she took on the role of Office Manager and was promoted to Practice Manager in 1993. She is committed to her role as Practice Manager, ensuring to keep the hopital's focus on high standards of veterinary medicine in addition to keeping up with innovative changes within the industry. She is Treasurer of Stray Pets In Need, Wellesley where she has volunteered since 2002. Moira is from Waltham originally, but now resides in Framingham with her husband Mike and her two cats Jack & Henri. In her free time, she is an avid reader and enjoys relaxing at her beach home in Hyannis and spending time with her children & grandchildren.
Stacy is our Head Technician. She started working in the Veterinary Field as a high school student in Connecticut in 1978. She attended Newbury Jr. College in Holliston and graduated with an Associate's degree in Animal Health Technology in 1982. She has a special interest in continuing education, veterinary dentistry and dental radiography. She lives in Uxbridge with her children, a Brittany Spaniel "Abbey" a one-eyed cat, "Pop-Eye" and several rabbits and chickens. In her spare time she enjoys nature and bonfires.
Jen came to work at Wellesley-Natick in 2004. She worked in Animal Care for about a month and then started training as a Technician Assistant. Jen enjoys surgery and In-hospital patient care. She was promoted to Veterinary Technician Supervisor in 2011. In her spare time she enjoys the beach, live music and spending time with her son Ryder and her fiance Taylor.
Ashley joined our practice in 2008 upon graduating from Plymouth State University with a B.S. in Health Education. She worked as a Client Service Representative for 2 years and then trained as a Veterinary Technician Assistant. Ashley is originally from Vermont and now resides in Framingham with her dog Jacoby. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors, the beach, working out at the gym, reading and spending time with friends and family.
Kristen started working in the kennel at Wellesley-Natick as her very first job when she was 15. After a year she moved on to try other opportunities and continue school. She is such an animal lover and had really enjoyed working at WNVH so much that she re-applied for a job here seven years later and came back to work in the kennel. Shortly after being re-hired she began training as a veterinary technician. She has been training for about a year and finds it to be a thrilling experience. She enjoys making a difference in the lives of pets. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her own animals, a Boston Terrier named Billie Jean as well as 4 cats.
Dianne grew up in Woburn and currently lives in Wilmington with her husband, two children and a Basset Hound named Candi. Dianne attended Umass Amherst and earned her associates degree at Middlesex Community College. Her love and passion for animals began at a very early age and she has been working with them for the past 27 years. Dianne worked for four years in the Intensive Care Unit at Angell Memorial and has been sharing her love for animals at Wellesley-Natick since 1995.
Hannah was born and raised at Covell's Beach on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. When she wasn't spending her days swimming, surfing or relaxing in the sun, she was riding horses, a hobby she has had since she was 5 years old. She has been trained in the Western dicipline, participating in rodeos across Southeast Massachusetts. After graduating high school, she attended Umass Amherst and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. She is proud to be a Umass Minuteman and now a Veterinary Technician Assistant at Wellesley-Natick.
